As some of you may have noticed, and much to some people's (including myself!) relief, I have changed my LJ username.
The old username (madocaodh), in addition to being difficult to pronounce (I don't even remember the correct way, LOL), holds little meaning for me now.
The first part of my new name is the spiritual name I have chosen for myself as I approach the completion of the first level of a spiritual development process. Akaash is a Hindu name meaning "sky" or "as great as the sky."
The second part is my sun sign in Mayan Cosmology/Astrology: I am a 13-B'en. And the archetype B'en is "the Skywalker." And there is the tie back to Akaash.
I wish I could find more resources online about Mayan Cosmology, but all my searching so far has turned up very little. One of my friends in Atlanta did my chart, but I don't have a written copy of it, and have had a hard time rememberint all the stuff she told me. So don't ask me lots of questions about Mayan Cosmology! LOL!
Actually, though, I am hoping to study with a woman in North Carolina who teaches Mayan Cosmology. Not sure when, though... the schedule seems to keep filling up with things to do.
